Position Summary:

Reports to the Environmental Services Manager. Performs environmental service duties as assigned and in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge equivalent to completion of two to four years of high school
• Some hard floor care experience required
• Must speak, comprehend, and read English, must adhere to dress code, must be able to work rotating holidays and every other weekend, must be able to accept shift changes

EHS is home to Manchester’s designated Regional Trauma Center, Urgent Care Centers, a Level 3 Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Elliot Physician Network, Elliot Specialists, Solinsky Center for Cancer Care, Elliot Senior Health Center, Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire, Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center, Elliot at River’s Edge and Elliot Pediatrics.

Position Summary:

Works under the close supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor to sustain the engagement of Elliot Essentials in all actions while removing non-hazardous waste, completing cleaning of equipment, furniture, building permanent surfaces and disinfection procedures on touched surfaces, furniture, and equipment in occupied and unoccupied inpatient rooms with no precaution, Enteric, Contact, Droplet, Special, Airborne, Compromised Host precautions, operating suites, outpatient exam and invasive and non-invasive procedure rooms, offices, public areas, restrooms, and auxiliary support rooms.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) years of related experience required
